A Design and Construction Report (DCR) was prepared for each Contract and was made available for a 30-day public review period. These documents were prepared in accordance with the Class Environmental Assessment for Provincial Transportation Facilities (2000)

The Design and Construction Reports document the design alternatives considered, the design features and associated environmental protection / mitigation measures included in the contract package, consultation with external stakeholders and the public, and any further commitments to be addressed during construction. The environmental protection / mitigation will include items carried forward from the Transportation Environmental Study Report and Preliminary Design Reports as well as any new items required due to the recommended detail design.

Relevant documents will be made available for viewing as the project progresses.

Contract No. 1
The Design and Construction Report for Contract No. 1 - Island Park Drive received environmental clearance in November 2006 and was constructed in summer 2007.

Contract No. 2
The Design and Construction Report for Contract No. 2 - Clyde Avenue received environmental clearance in September 2007 and was constructed in summer 2008.

Contract No. 3
The Design and Construction Report for Contract No. 3 - Carling EB received environmental clearance in August 2009 and is was constructed in Summer 2011.

Contract No. 4
The Design and Construction Report for Contract No. 4 received environmental clearance in December 2011. Construction began in the Spring of 2012 and is anticipated to be completed in the Fall of 2013.
